I'm a Philadelphia-based journalist who loves
words, finding stories in unexpected places,
being in a newsroom and discovering answers
to questions that make us all curious. I specialize
in arts and lifestyle reporting, but I love when
those stories intersect with a larger social
trend or issue. I'm currently a City Life Reporter
at the Philadelphia Inquirer, which means I try
to help Philadelphians live their best lives through
the stories I write.

I graduated magna cum laude from
Northwestern University in 2017 with a journalism
major and an Asian American Studies minor.
My writing has appeared in The Boston Globe,
The
Denver Post, Cape Town's Weekend Argus,
The Huffington Post and the News & Observer.
